Hey again-sorry I havent posted lately, things have been crazy as usual!
So much has been going on since my last post. Last Wedensday, we had our annual Greek Scholarship and Faculty Recognition Reception, which went so well. We give out awards to faculty who have helped the Greek community and recognize the students who have achieved great grades last semester. None of it would have been possible without Jaclyn Fettinger who ran and planned the entire event!
This past Monday, my chapter elected the new officer board for the upcoming year. Sadly, I will no longer be the Recruitment Director. Instead, I was elected as Vice President and I'm really excited about it. Jaclyn is the new President and again, I know shes going to do a fantastic job. We work really well together so I think we're going to be successful. I'm excited about the other girls who were elected onto Officer Board as well and I'm excited to start working together come January.
My internship here in the Greek Life office comes to an end next week, which is very odd. David, Jaclyn and I will be presenting our presentations to the chapter president's next week, which is a little nerve wracking! I havent decided yet if I'll be interning again in the spring because it depends on my course load-and I register in a half hour!
Thats all for now-I'm gonna go do some more work and try to keep sane with all of my homework and projects that are piling up before break!
